Comfortable and handy location to the sushi restaurant that was too far away, private parking nearby. Also - next to the train station and close to restaurants and a supermarket, and the town center in 10 minutes.

My 4 nights in Takayama were such great. I had an amazingly clean and impressive room with central heating, a flat-screen TV and a fridge. The breakfast was satisfactory, served in the lounge area. Its location at a moderate distance from a Shingon - sect Buddhist temple was great. There was a nice restaurant, a supermarket and stores next door. The private parking was nearby, EXCELLENT service.

The staff here were incredibly friendly and helpful, the location was fantastic, just a short stroll to a beautiful park, and there was even a great sushi spot nearby.

The staff provided me with outstanding hospitality, making sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay. The rooms were spacious and relaxing, with all the necessary furniture and amenities. I particularly enjoyed the private outdoor Onsen, a perfect way to start and end my days. The location of the hotel, very close to the train station, was also very convenient.

The hotel we found was really well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. The bedding was really comfortable and we slept well during our stay. The view from our room was stunning and we were able to take some amazing photos. The complementary breakfast was delicious, and we were impressed with the variety of foods on offer. the hotel staff were kind and accommodating, and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.

We found the location of the hotel to be quite inconvenient. It was quite far from the city center, and it was difficult to access public transportation.

The lounge area at Ichinomatsu Japanese Modern is incredibly comfortable and has a beautiful modern Japanese design. The receptionist provided detailed directions and maps to help me navigate to Kamikochi, which I really appreciated. The private onsen was a lovely bonus, allowing me to relax and unwind. The location was great, with just a short 10-minute walk to the main street. I loved my stay at this hotel.

While the garden room was bright and comfortable, the lack of privacy was a minor drawback as people passing by could see into the room.

I had a delightful stay at this hotel. The value for money was excellent, with reasonable prices for a new establishment that had the graceful feeling of an old-fashioned ryokan. The attention to detail was impeccable, from the beautiful Japanese-style beds in the spacious and smartly arranged rooms to the lovely patio in the garden featuring an open-air bath that any guest can reserve for private use. The staff provided wonderful hospitality, ensuring that all amenities were up to par, and the breakfasts were a highlight of my stay.
